When you contact us or submit a referral, we collect the details you provide, such as name, contact details, the type of support needed and relevant referral information.

Referrals from health professionals may also include the referrer's practice details and attached referral documents (PDF or Word). Please do not include more detail than is needed for us to arrange the right care.

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, assess support needs, and arrange appropriate services. We only share information where it is necessary to provide support, or where required by law.

Submissions are sent over a secure (HTTPS) connection. This website does not store your submission: referrals and enquiries, including any attached documents, are delivered directly to our intake inbox over an encrypted connection, where access is limited to the team arranging your care.

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete information where appropriate. Email us at hello@caringsprings.org or use the details on our contact page.

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us using the details on our contact page and we will respond as soon as we can. Feedback about our services, including complaints, can be made through our feedback and complaints page.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We use email and IT service providers to receive and manage referrals and enquiries. Some of these providers may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled securely wherever it is stored.
